Topre Keyboard Size Lineup

  • Full Size thumbnail

    Full Size

Standard keyboard size. While it has the advantage of not being overstuffed with arrow keys, functions, and even a numeric keypad, the keyboard is inevitably longer in length and width, which increases the distance to the mouse and trackpad.

  • Tenkeyless (TKL) thumbnail

    Tenkeyless (TKL)

A full-size keyboard minus the numeric keypad. This size has become popular in recent years because it offers the feel of a full-size keyboard with reduced width.

Topre Keyboard Type

  • Capacitance non-contact method thumbnail

    Capacitance non-contact method

A type of keyboard in which keys are input by sensing capacitance. The keys do not bottom out and there are no switches as on mechanical keyboards, so the key touch is light and the keyboard is very quiet.

Topre Keyboard Series

  • REALFORCE

Topre's keyboard series that employs the capacitance non-contact method. This long-selling standard series has a wide range of users, from professional users to general users, as well as business users.

Topre Keyboard Features

Capacitance-free contact method" offers superb key touch that other companies’ keyboards do not have

The keyboard “REALFORCE” from Topre is characterized by its use of the “capacitance non-contact method”. The lack of key switches makes the key touch lighter and less stressful on the fingers, making it the keyboard of choice for many professionals.

Actuation points can be customized

The model equipped with Topre’s unique APC (Actuation Point Changer) function, which utilizes nodeless points, allows users to adjust the position at which the switch turns on in four steps of 0.8mm, 1.5mm, 2.2mm, and 3.0mm by using the dedicated software. The key touch can also be customized by combining it with spacers that can be placed under the keys.

With conventional keyboards, you need to buy a new keyboard to change the key touch, but with the APC function, you can customize the set to your liking with a single keyboard.

Choose the one that matches your supported OS!

Topre’s REALFORCE series lineup includes not only keyboard layouts with language (Japanese and US layouts), but also models with key layouts optimized for the major operating systems, Windows and macOS.

Windows models have a basic Windows layout, while macOS models have a layout similar to (but not exactly the same as) Apple’s stock keyboard.

Check to see if the model has APC functionality!

The current models of the REALFORCE series from Topre are basically equipped with the APC function, but some models, such as models for macOS, are not equipped with the APC function.

Three sizes and two layouts to choose from

Topre’s REALFORCE series offers three types of keyboards in its lineup: full-size, tenkeyless, and numeric keypad. The ten-key keyboard is only available in the Windows version, but the full-size and tenkeyless keyboards are compatible with all operating systems.

As for layouts, the lineup basically offers both Japanese and US layouts, making it an easy choice for English keyboard users.
